Welcome to The Last Ten Podcast. Today we are going to talk about deconditioning your cravings. I came up with a brilliant analogy to explain this in a simple and powerful way. Many people experience a desire for something and they give into it.

The goal is not to get rid of the desire. If you are always trying to get rid of it, it’s always going to be a struggle. Instead, you allow the craving to be there. Having the craving, desire or feeling of wanting something is harmless. The feelings of desire are powerless. It is possible to feel the feeling but not take any action.

We’ve given food the job of comfort and entertainment. Because of this we have created over desire for food. If you make the intentional decision to not take action, you will eventually decondition that desire.

Think about the things that are compelling for you. Think about your big picture. What do you want to create? Make decisions that align with what you want to create, even if it goes against what you feel right now.
