Stop! Don’t turn off this episode just because it’s an interview with one of my clients! One of the best ways to learn is to look at someone who has been able to achieve something you want to achieve or create what you want to create is to emulate them!

Gulzat’s Story:

She found herself stuck. Gulzat is a personal chef specializing in food allergies. She knows everything a person can know about food. Her problem was with impulse control. 90 percent of the time she ate well.  It was that other 10 percent of the time that was a problem. The frustration set in, and Gulzat gave up. She gave in to her impulses. She let food win.

In August 2017, Gulzat turned 40. She bought a new dress for the party–a nice one–but there was no hiding the extra weight she’d put on. She was chubby; so chubby in fact, that her friends thought maybe she was pregnant. It was in that moment, looking through the pictures from that party, that she knew it was time for a change.

Gulzat came across the podcast. When she finally decided it was time to come to me and get the help she needed, she was 147 pounds. She set up a coaching session, and now she’s down 17 1/2 pounds! With the right tools and proper support, Gulzat realized her goals and is now at her goal weight of 130 pounds!!

Change the Way You Think!

Diets are temporary. That’s why the results often don’t last. Gulzat had been through the cycle of weight loss and weight gain enough times to know something was missing when she tried to reach her goals on her own. She knew it was time to invest in herself and my program.  It was time to change the way she was thinking, not just the way she was eating.

Losing weight can be overwhelming. Most people don’t know where to start or which steps to take to achieve lasting results. That’s where (Link) Private Coaching comes in. My clients and I have been through this. I’ve seen it all before. Together, we can succeed in reaching your weight loss goals!

Listening to podcasts is passive. Getting on a call and having a strategy session is active. From the first moment of every strategy session, the focus is on you and what you need to do to change the way you think, lose the weight, and keep it off.

If I had a superpower, it would be identifying that one thing that is holding someone back; that thought that keeps people from achieving their goals. I remember when weight was my biggest struggle. Day and night it was on my mind. My weight and eating habits were keeping me from living my life. I know first hand, it really is worth it to get the help you need to get these thoughts out of your life forever.

So many think positive thinking and thought manifestation are too cheesy or too easy to work for them. I know Gulzat did. The thing is, when you dig deeper it all makes a whole lot of sense. Our thoughts create our feelings, our feelings create our actions, and our actions create our results! It worked for her; it can work for you too!

You Have to Believe!

These methods don’t work if you don’t believe. Gulzat was told by a medical professional that she had to stop eating certain foods. She was devastated. She works as a professional chef. She loves food. It wasn’t until we sat down and had a strategy session that Gulzat realized it wasn’t the end of the world. All she had to do was change the way she thought about food. She neutralized the situation and took control of her life.

Love Yourself!

It’s hard to change the way we think. For so many of us, our thoughts are facts. Ridgid and unrelenting. Our feelings of restriction, deprivation, resentment, and self-pity are choices. Sometimes without a coach, it can be hard to break out of these thought patterns; hard to decide how we think and feel. Through effort and coaching, Gulzat has the tools she needs to keep the weight off. She’s changed her thoughts and feelings and can now identify the ones that will help her reach her goals, and the ones that won’t.

Prove it!

For so much of my life, I’ve struggled with confidence. The helpless feeling that comes from the struggle of weight loss is a heavy burden. The weight (no pun intended) lifted from our shoulders when we lose the weight and keep it off can change our lives. When Gulzat started my program, her confidence was at an all-time low. She didn’t feel comfortable giving people the advice they needed to lose weight. She felt like a failure. Now she has four people lined up who want to lose weight! They want her to cook five meals a week with suggestions for breakfast and lunch. She has proven it to herself that she can be successful and now she’s confident enough not only to keep the weight off on her own but to help others on their journey too!
